Dave and Susan, I hope your hunting season has been safe and successful thus far. I suppose with the new addition to the family, your “hunting” time is a bit more limited now. Perhaps a call to grandma to come visit for a few days is in order, huh...say around the whitetail rut? At any rate, I just returned from hunting the Yukon Territory with Chris and Sharron McKinnon with Bonnet Plume Outfitters.

What an awesome trip! My main target was trophy Alaskan Yukon moose this time. After three previous unsuccessful moose hunts in Wyoming, British Columbia and Alaska, I finally connected on my first moose. This bull measured over 67” and had 3 drop tines. My guide, Leland Gilbert, did a fantastic job in all aspects of the hunt...he even built me Egg McMuffins for breakfast one day. What a crazy SOB! Anyway, if you or someone you know who is looking for a SUPER hunt for MONSTER moose, Chris and Sharron McKinnon do one hell of a job! I highly recommend them and their area.
