As far as price and reliability you can't beat an 870. I would get the wingmaster rather than the Express as it won't ever loose value (as long as you take care of it).

Winchester Super X series are great as well, but more expensive. I had one for years and it was my favorite shotgun. Very reliable.

Mossberg's in my opinion kick like a mule and I wouldn't own one.
